Kuhn Capital Partners was honored to take a small part in supporting Fox Valley Forge SC, a nonprofit youth soccer club, as a participant in the inaugural Forge Golf Classic held today, Monday, August 31, 2026, at Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva, Illinois.
The outing featured an 18-hole shotgun scramble with on-course contests, lunch, and a barbecue dinner. Every registration and sponsorship from the event goes directly back to the club’s players, funding development initiatives and programming.
Fox Valley Forge SC was formed in 2026 through the merger of Campton United and the Fox Valley Strikers, bringing together 78 years of combined history under one club. The organization serves players from U4 through U19 across recreational and competitive pathways in Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Elgin, and Burlington, with a player-centered philosophy it describes as “built, not bought.”
“The Fox Valley is where our families live and where many of our clients live,” said Robert Kuhn, CEO. “Supporting a club that develops kids from within, rather than recruiting them from elsewhere, is an easy decision. We were glad to be a small part of the first Forge Golf Classic and look forward to seeing it grow.”
The Kuhn Capital Partners foursome enjoyed a competitive day on the course, though not without the occasional setback.
“It was a bad day to be a double bogey,” said Brian Phillips.
